Katiy Heath is a writer from Saint Joseph, Missouri. She is the author of FOCUS GROUP ARCHIVES, a column at Catapult Magazine, and has been nominated for Best Small Fictions, Best of the Net, selected as a contest semi-finalist by American Short Fiction, and a finalist for The Southampton Review Nonfiction Prize. Her work has received fellowships from Vermont Studio Center, Millay Arts, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA), and NES Artist Residency in Skagaströnd, Iceland. Katiy holds a Bachelors in Journalism from the Missouri School of Journalism, and an MFA in Creative Writing from Sarah Lawrence College, where she served as the Managing Editor of the program’s literary journal, LUMINA. Recently, she was a fiction reader for The Drift, and is currently reading for The Rumpus.
